In the traditional analog darkroom, the pressing issue of pollution has been a cause for concern. Rather than simply pursuing mass production as a solution, our approach has been to serve as a source of inspiration. By emphasizing the critical challenges we face and presenting an alternative path that minimizes the ecological footprint, we aspire to amplify awareness of the environmental impact within this realm. The scarcity of viable chemical and plastic substitutes, integral to the photo manufacturing process, poses a significant obstacle, primarily due to concerns regarding stability. Moreover, the adoption of novel materials is hindered by the heightened costs and intricate procedures when compared to conventional techniques. Despite these constraints, the allure of convenience and reliability inherent in traditional chemical processes remains a persistent factor, urging us to seek sustainable yet feasible alternatives.
